Jesus was very clear as how God will only receive the offer for the altar in (Matt: 5.23).
The Mercenary is the one that takes the place of the shepherd, and only works for the money, doesn’t take care of the sheep.
The Wolf is the devil and those that let him use them (the devil’s sons - 1ºJonh: 3.7 to 10). Wolf in sheep’s clothing.
These four characters are used by the devil to confuse, steal, kill, divide, straw and destroy the heard, taking great damage to the church, but Ezekiel and Jesus alert us of those that will come before him to the sheep.
Jesus referred to 2 sties, 1st of that time and 2nd for this time of peak of the Bible, he’s clear in: John 10:
16- And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd.
17- Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take

it again.
18- No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

That has these four characters, but now at this time of the end, at the peak of the Bible, that almost everyone reads ADN know how to read, to hear his voice without intermediary, the supreme shepherd is retaking his sheep. Paul prophetizes in: Rm. 10:
17- So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18- But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

27- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
